Unreal Engine: Third person Ladder system

Third person ladder system in Unreal Engine 5.

Features:

• Procedural and Modular ladder creator (customisable height, bar gap, end pieces and screws)
• Climbing up the ladder using root motion
• Sliding down the ladder to get down

Notes:

• There is no climbing down, as it is similar to climbing up and so was replaced by sliding down instead to make it more diverse. You can add functionality to climb down by default and slide down if a key is pressed
• Since the animations used are from Mixamo with modifications, the foot placement on the ladder bars will not be 100% accurate. If you are using a specifically made ladder climbing animations from the marketplace for example, you can use those and adjust the bar gap of the procedural ladder to find the exact values
