Third person cover system in Unreal Engine 5.
Features:
- Enter and exit cover
- Move forward/backwards aligning (if bumps in wall)
- Height detection (crouch if wall too short)
- Align to any angle (works with concave + convex too)
- Jump from cover to cover (if at edge of wall)
- Object masking (make only certain objects be used in cover)
Notes:
- With regular tracing, the player can cover to objects that aren't that realistic too since it detects visibility. A workaround for this is to enable the "UseOnlyCoverChannel" variable and manually select the objects you want to be used in cover and set their collision response to the cover channel to overlap or block.
